What we know about climate change is that the temperature is raising and no rains in our towns and cities. But there are lot of things going on here.
Let me explain you in most simpler language so that you need not to worry about jargon or confusions.
Before we begin, let's understand what is green house effect. (It's Great if you still remember from our school subjects)
As we know that heat and light coming from our sun passes through the earth's atmosphere. But when these heat and light don't passes or reflects back from earth, the heat gets trapped in the earth's atmoshpere- causing the raise in temperature.
so, the problem here is, few gases like methane,carbon dioxide gases traps the heat in earth's atmosphere ~ this is called greenhouse effect and the gases like carbon dioxide and methane are known as greenhouse gases.
but from where these gases are producing? -> from burning fossil fuels to run our vehicles, factories etc.
due to this, there is complete shift in the whether conditions in certain areas of the world.
If we don't take any action, we'll welcome unnatural floods, shortage of food and crops and many more.
Now, Let's look at how we can try our best to reduce these gases:
1. Shift to renewable power: Solar, Wind Power
2. Reforestation: As we know that plant absorbs Carbon dioxide, planting them as many as we can gonna absorb the carbon emissions.
3. Recycle Waste: try to use recycle plastics instead of single use plastic.
4. Spread More Awareness among people.
